Secure European Truck Parking Operation Services, Abk. SETPOS'') ist ein von der Europäischen Kommission initiiertes Pilotprojekt. Mit dem SETPOS-Programm wird auf die wachsende Gefahr für Ladungen, Fahrzeuge und Fahrer sowie die auf der anderen Seite fehlenden sicheren Parkmöglichkeiten reagiert. Mithilfe von SETPOS sollen sichere LKW-Parkplätze geschaffen und die Informationen über bestehende verfügbar gemacht werden.<br /> <br /> Das SETPOS-Programm hat folgende drei Hauptziele:<br /> # Einen allgemeinen Standard für sichere LKW-Parkplätze zu definieren<br /> # Eine gewisse Anzahl sicherer Parkplätze nach dem definierten Standard für Demonstrationszwecke zu schaffen und<br /> # Ein Informationssystem als Parkleit- und Reservierungssystem für alle LKW-Parkplätze zu schaffen.</div>
